Second tallest tree on the planet
Only 1.5 hours south of Hobart, near the Tahune Airwalk, stands the world's second tallest tree. It is a 101 meter (approx. 330 feet) Giant Swamp Gum, which is second only to a Giant Coast Redwood Tree in California's Redwood National Park. Our giant tree was found as recently as 2008 and who knows, there may be the tallest tree on earth still hiding in Tasmania's deep, un-surveyed, forests.

Each of our guides has their own stories and anecdotes about Hobart and the rest of Tasmania.
